Pricey, especially for something a simple as a salad which arrived at the table missing ingredients described in the menu.... but I've also had other good meals.
When in town we always drop in for dinner. "Rocket" (Justin) is the best..We can be assured to have an amazing meal as the food is local and fresh. A vegan and meat eater, there's something delicious for us both.
My husband and I love La Rana's. The food, service, plating and drinks are perfect. I usually get that evening special. Oh yes the desserts are grand. Renee and Dick Smith

La Rana is always our go to place for a special meal. Love the focus on local ingredients and the ambience is always perfect.
The food options are consistently well executed and the bar is extensive. I highly recommend the mojito. The portions are a bit small for the price and the menu is limited, but everything is prepared at a high level at this intimate bistro. Definitely an experience not to be missed.
