Amazing place. Great coffee, people, food, music. . . Can't say enough about it. Wish I could pick it up and move it back home with me. Until then, I will always visit this place every time I am in Decorah.

Goin to Java John's changed my entire life. I used to be depressed and riddled with sickness, and was diagnosed with progeria. I found Java John's on a road trip trying to get to a doctor who can save me from my disease, and I came across this little town. I needed some food and coffee to keep me awake and I stopped in Java John's. The prices were fair and the employees were extremely nice. The turning point in my life was here. I tasted that fresh coffee and I felt my disease and hardship leaving me. I have moved to Decorah to go to Java John's every day. I am now financially stable, cured of disease, have a wife and 8 children and enjoy my life. Java John's saved me and I suggest you get your warm drinks here if you want a better life.
The ambiance was great, coffee was good, music was very nice touch.
First time here and it was wonderful. Free WiFi, hot and cold coffee drinks, open late with other beverages for sale, and a decent menu. There's also live music some nights. It has a great coffee house feel.
