Nice laundry
Clean,near by and wifi
Fairly new and Clean laundromat but when the machine takes your money and leaves your bedding covered with soapy water and you have no more means of getting your bed put back together. .. it will take 3 or 4 hours to locate an owner or someone with authority enough to offer to meet you back down and let you sit there and spend more of your life on another one of their machines to not work. I told the man a solution is for you to meet me at the laundromat across town and pay for the washing there. They are argumentative and rude and claimed to have your phone number posted on a bulletin board which by the way is by a smelly bathroom and there is a sign posted next to the door saying if you have any problems get on Facebook. I hate Facebook because I get on and say things like this and by myself arrested but I cannot be arrested for the truth. The man was rude. It was no remedy. I'm lucky my $75 mattress pad is not destroyed and I'd much rather borrow $ I don't have from someone else before I spend one more short quarter at a Short Street Laundry. The man wanted to spend more time arguing about whether or not his phone number was available than to remedy the issue. A remedy would have been saying I'm sorry that happened. And then maybe doing the right thing would be to offer to pick it up and go wash it yourself and then return it being how it is I spent my whole day trying to locate someone actually concerned about their business where they absolutely come up "SHORT"! It required a call to the local police and a pawn a return phone call I answer the phone and the man does not even have the politeness to say anything other than "this is His Name" leading me to fish for who the stranger calling me is . It's sure nice to have a laundromat when you need one but I'll wash my clothes in the Upper Iowa River before I throw another quarter at someone running an operation with an unlaundered attitude like that. I've had problems here and there with machines in other places, some local and some not, but I've never encountered someone so defensive about a computerized mechanical device that they were not even present for the error and unwilling to accept responsibility after seeing pictures of the problem( to be fair, proprietor never saw pictures because they were unwilling). Short Street Laundry is exactly what they say they are you can get your Laundry done might as well be done in the Street and it definitely comes up Short. It only makes sense that a man who knows nothing about customer service would open a business where no one is ever present. Did I mention they cost 150 % of local facilities? I don't I found that because it doesn't matter... but a disinterested proprietor matters, .... as much as a bovine facility Sanitation specialist, who I would point out with need to go elsewhere to remove the results of a hard day's work.
Clean place. The washers wash and the dryers dry! Send a little spendy, but I don't use the laundromat much.
