This is a beautiful place to go n visit. I love going there!
We have come down from Minnesota twice this year and both times we visited Spring Park. The first time was with our 12 and 14 year old kids. Not only did my wife and I have fun, but the kids had a blast at the waterfall. We were probably not supposed to do this, but we went over the railing at the falls and explored the little cave. Wear sandals so you and the kids can get your feet wet. There are also a number of offshoot trails to explore and hike. A very fun experience.
Beautiful park! The stream was perfect for introducing my kids to fly fishing.
One word of caution for larger vehicles, those pulling a travel trailer, or driving an RV. Do not drive up the street that actually goes to the falls. 1. It is very narrow. 2. There is extremely limited space to turn around, especially when the small parking lot is full of cars. Park down at the bottom and walk up, it's a peaceful walk anyway. The first time we were there, a 35 foot RV pulled in and it was a mess for them getting out, as they had to back all the way back down the winding street. Thankfully, there were a number of very helpful spotters for the driver and all went well.
The park isn't very big but very pretty especially during the fall.
The small trek to the top is awesome. Water was very cold but fun to just step in for a minute
