The pine cabin was very clean and comfortable.
This cabin was really great. We loved the privacy and the surrounding little area that was "ours" for our stay. It was a great size for two couples and we took our toddler. Perfect proximity to the falls, just a quick drive down the road. Tad couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating - we definitely are planning on coming back!
The property is only 11miles away Decorah. The previous review is false is saying it's 25 miles away from Decorah. The scheduling conflict in another review is now taken care of with online booking with our brand new website (YAY :). As for the trails she is correct, there are no trails on the property but there are several state grounds close by you can go on (about 1 mile away). There is a map of those in the cabins.
Up in the hill far away from the river, 25 miles from decorah. Only five cabins, lonely. Cannot go beyond mowed grass, feels trapped, no walking places to enjoy the countryside, only look at it from your porch.
