we took a group of teenagers out here for a couple days of camping and canoeing. we had a blast. the campground's location is great, right next to the river and a cool bridge, and there is plenty of wide open, mowed space to spread out and have fun. at this campground you have access to a clean, modern bathroom which we thought was great! we rented a trailer-full of canoes and kayaks for the long (6-hour paddle) river trip. they were very accommodating with the shuttle and the equipment was good. the river was awesome - we spent 8 hours out there - and we felt like champions when we were done. The campground and management were relaxed and enjoyable.
Wonderful location, and wonderful owners. We would love to stay here again if we're in the area.
It's a nice place to camp out or spend the weekend
We had a wonderful time there last summer!! The owners took my family for a wagon ride and showed us around there land.
I've rented kayaks and canoes from this family for years and will keep going back. It ain't fancy, but it's affordable with great service.
